Mike O'Brien was born in Hagerstown, Maryland before pursuing his artistic passion at The Savannah College of Art and Design, earning a

Master of Fine Arts Degree in Illustration.

Currently working in his Columbus, Ohio studio 'Wheelhouse Art', Mike is an award-winning artist and creative powerhouse with vast experience in personal portraiture as well as packaging, corporate, book cover, advertising, and editorial illustration.​
